I got all my vehicles transfered into my name and out of joint ownership (my xmas gift to me)

My cell seems like it will hold out till I can get an iphone

New blankets

New gloves

People who care about me

People patient enough to understand that sometimes a person needs to count their blessings and 3 just isn't going to cut it today

I'm healthier today than I was when I split with my ex and I get better every day

An alarm clock that has never let me down

And lastly hope. I'm thankful for the hope that tomorrow will always be a better day.

(1) Finished my Christmas shopping and nobody died!!
(2) Got plans firmed up to spend Christmas Eve with my family for the first time in years - dinner with my mother, aunt, uncle and cousins.
(3) Even though it's all going to wash away in the next few days, the beautiful new landscape that all this snow created was wonderful, and I'm glad I got the chance to spend time appreciating it (and I may have made a snow angel or 2, but I'm not tellin').

Yeah, my family has always raised hell with me about the "un natural enjoyment" I get when I pick up a wrench and start bustin' bolts.

But, I don't mind the blood, sweat and tears, and I get a heck of a rush from turning over the key and hearing the motor roar to life.

Check into your local comunity college, they usually have classes you can take for basic maintance and simple repairs.
